The spine proper (Presidio / Heritage bands, Heritage Trace to Golden Triangle): the densest cluster, the shortest drives to most Alliance badges, and — in heavy-supply stretches — the corridor's thickest concessions. Start here; for most shifts it's the answer. The Haslet edge: thinner on true apartments, stronger on BTR houses and house rentals — worth it when your badge sits west-side (intermodal, BNSF) and single-digit commute minutes are the prize. The Northlake/114 shoulder: newer communities and BTR arriving fast; the fit for spine workers splitting life with the 114 corridor or a two-badge household.
The shift multiplier
Everything in the logistics employer guide applies: a 5am start makes half this map feel close; a 5pm release makes the same map honest in reverse. Drive your candidate cluster at your true clock before weighting price differences that a commute can erase.
