North FW Livingthe alliance corridor field guide

The resource directory

For every check we recommend, here's who actually holds the answer.

This site's whole method is 'verify with the primary source.' This page names them — search each by its official name; official sites are the record, and mirrors of them are not.

The tax side

Tarrant Appraisal District and Denton Central Appraisal District — assessed values, taxing entities per address (your district cross-check), exemption filing including homestead. Your county depends on your address; closing documents name it. County tax offices (Tarrant / Denton) — vehicle registration and tax payment.

The school side

The five districts, each with its own attendance-zone tool and enrollment office: Keller ISD, Northwest ISD, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, Argyle ISD, and Fort Worth ISD (rarely the corridor answer, occasionally the seam). The method uses these tools directly.

The town side

City halls and town sites for Keller, Roanoke, Northlake, Justin, Haslet, Trophy Club, Westlake, Argyle, and the City of Fort Worth — permits, utilities where city-served, park departments, and event calendars.

The state side

Texas DPS (driver licenses), TxDMV (vehicle registration rules), the state's official retail electricity comparison site, and the Texas Comptroller (property-tax system explainers and current exemption rules). For new construction: your builder's warranty documents and the contract's MUD/PID notices are themselves primary sources — file them like it. Compiled August 2026.
